Five police bikes parked outside a donut shop, love it! My ex has this campaign to try to convince me to move to Boston. No doubt he will use the above photo as proof that Boston has an endearing bike culture. And no doubt he will point out San Francisco’s hills are more trouble than Boston’s. Well, ain’t that tempting.
But I click on the larger picture and… Wait, those bikes aren’t locked. One would have to be really stupid to try to steal a police bike but, criminals tend to massively underwhelm me with their intelligence.
Anyways, back to Boston vs. San Francisco. The bike coalition here can’t really do much about the hills. And I’m fairly certain the bike coalition there can’t do much about the winters. Oh, what to do?
